Dear Ms Gillard

Dear Ms Gillard,

Your legislative achievements during this current parliament are nothing but astounding. The ALP's ability to shield Australia from the global financial crisis should not be overlooked.

That the ALP, which you lead at the parliamentary level, has not been able to capitalise on these achievements is also astounding. In fact, there have been times when I believe your Government has managed to upset ALL the interested parties.

To be fair, I think you are a courageous, hard working person with one of Australia's most difficult 'jobs'. However, you do not lead a stable Government and I doubt that a Government under your leadership will ever be stable; I am sure under other circumstances I could welcome your leadership and your legislative programme.

That said, I believe it is in the best interests for you to step down or use whatever reasonable means you can to call an election.

Thank you and I wish you well.

stable 2 (ˈsteɪb ə l)

— adj
1. steady in position or balance; firm
I think the word you have selected is a poor choice...Gillard IS a stable and steadfast person. By repeating that she or her Government is not stable only feeds into the media frenzy and creates insecurity.
